Girls’Day 2024 at the Bachner Group

We were delighted to greet eight girls at our Bachner Campus in Wambach on April 25th as part of the annual Girls’Day.

To ensure the safety of all participants, they first received a briefing on soldering and electrical construction, then followed by the practical part of the day. With the support of our staff, the girls tried their hand at soldering a rocket, for example. At the end of the day, we could draw a positive conclusion: We received consistently positive feedback from our participants.

The Girls’Day is a nationwide event that serves to encourage young girls to discover STEM professions and include them in their career choices. Bachner Group has been taking part in the Girls’Day since 2018 to provide participants with an insight into the careers of electronics technician for energy and building technology and information electronics technician. We hope to be able to welcome more women as trainees in the coming years.
