Girls’Day 2024 at the Bachner Group

As part of this year's Girls' Day, schoolgirls were able to gain an insight into various electrical professions at our Bachner Campus.

At our Bachner Campus training academy in Wambach, the participants learned more about job profiles such as electronics technician for energy and building technology or information electronics technician as well as about everyday life in the electrical industry. However, the focus of the day was on the practical part: after instructions on soldering and electrical construction, the girls were able to try their hand at these tasks themselves with the support of first-year apprentices and the Bachner Group's full-time trainer. All open questions that had arisen during the day could be asked afterwards.

An exciting day full of new experiences and practical insights! We are delighted that we were able to inspire some of the participants for a future in the electrical industry.

The official figures from the Central Association of German Electrical and IT Trades (ZVEH) are encouraging for the entire industry: the number of new trainee contracts in Germany rose by 3.9% in 2023 compared to the previous year. The proportion of female trainees even grew by 21.6%.
