Opening of the Mobility Hub in Passau
When the new Mobility Hub was opened in Passau Sperrwies on September 20th, Bachner was invited, too. The Dingolfing team led by division manager Martin Kurmayer was responsible for the technical infrastructure for two FENECON energy storage systems, as well as for their installation and commissioning during the construction of Bavaria’s largest public hydrogen filling station.
The two energy storage units each have an output of more than 700 kW and a capacity of around 1.3 MWh. They are an indispensable part of the Mobility Hub’s innovative energy system and will be optimizing the energy consumption of the photovoltaic system installed on the site. Additionally, they will be used to cover peak loads and increase the flexibility of the existing energy system.
The Mobility Hub in Passau Sperrwies is a project by the Next Mobility Konsortium. It consists of the Paul Group (specialized in commercial vehicle construction), filling station operator MaierKorduletsch and Shell Deutschland. In addition to conventional fuel, several e-charging stations and hydrogen pumps are also available. The special feature: Up to ten hydrogen trucks can be refueled per hour at the two pumps for trucks at the new Mobility Hub. This capacity is unique in all of Europe.
We at the Bachner Group are proud to have been part of such an innovative project and to have contributed our many years of experience in the field of renewable energy in the industrial and commercial sector. True to our motto “Electrical and energy expertise from a single provider”, we are helping to shape the energy supply of tomorrow.
