2024-10-15
Symposium on November 21 in Iggensbach at FENECON GmbH
On Thursday, November 21, together with FENECON GmbH, we welcomed 85 guests to the symposium “Industrial battery storage and large-scale photovoltaic systems: pretty best friends” at the FENECON large-scale storage production facility in Iggensbach near Deggendorf. Interested parties were given an overview of the current challenges and opportunities for ground-mounted photovoltaic systems and larger rooftop systems by the invited experts.
In addition to a tour of FENECON's large-scale storage production lines, the program also included various specialist presentations. The first presentation of the day was given by Markus Wagenhäuser from the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy (StMWi): He provided information on the current status of large-scale and ground-mounted systems. He also discussed the legal framework, upcoming changes and funding opportunities and gave a brief outlook on the future from the Ministry's perspective.
Informative presentations on renewable energies
Ludwig Igl from the company FENECON gave a closer look at the interaction between photovoltaic systems and industrial storage systems - the central question here was how opportunities can be exploited as safely, innovatively and precisely as possible. Igl also discussed business models with high profitability and presented suitable practical examples.
Daniel Hirschberger informed those present about investment opportunities in solar parks. Hirschberger provides his expertise to the company FERESTO, which enables customers to rent out industrial storage systems.
Our colleague Stefan Arlt from the Bachner Group focused on the energy solutions of the future: here he emphasized how the holistic view of an energy system can be an added value for the customer. At the same time, he also presented our expanded service portfolio, thanks to which we are once again proving our usual promise: everything from a single source!
The day ended with Rainer Linder, Managing Director and founder of the start-up Charge at Friends, which offers software solutions for private and business customers in the field of e-mobility. In his presentation, he posed the question of whether innovative charging solutions offer added value for everyone.
After the specialist presentations, the guests had the opportunity to end the successful day in a relaxed atmosphere with discussions among themselves.
