Photovoltaic installations in Germany almost doubled to 14.1 GW in 2023! Bavaria leads the way with an impressive 3.5 GW of installed solar capacity. However, grid expansion is not keeping pace in many places and grid bottlenecks are leading to the curtailment of solar power.
