Fundraiser Tafel

Bachner Elektro spendet jeweils 5.000 Euro an die Tafeln seiner sechs deutschen Standorte, in Summe 30.000 Euro.

“The volunteers at the Tafel provide a unique service to people. It is very important to us to support this service. As a family business, we are strongly rooted in the regions where our sites are located; the people here are simply important to us” - with these words, those responsible at Bachner Elektro GmbH & Co. KG presented a check for 5,000 euros each to the food banks in Mainburg, Landshut, Ingolstadt, Leipzig and to the Arnstorf food bank - whose catchment area also includes Dingolfing - as well as to the Oberschleissheim table. The company, now in its 4th generation and run by the owner family Bachner, is thus donating a total of 30,000 euros to people in poverty, who receive the basic necessities for their nutrition that are so urgently needed at the food banks.

The Tafeln rescue food that can no longer be sold and give it to people in poverty who cannot afford a balanced diet. For example, 60,000 Tafel helpers in Germany rescue around 265,000 tons of food each year and pass it on to more than two million people. The donated food is not enough, however, because long-life foods such as potatoes, flour, rice, pasta, UHT milk or sugar are also needed. The food banks are therefore dependent on donations.

On behalf of all employees, the Bachner family wishes all people in the regions of Mainburg, Landshut, Dingolfing, Oberschleißheim, Ingolstadt and Leipzig a peaceful Christmas.
