Bachner Group honors employee loyalty

Hans, Sabine und Gabriele Bachner honored 46 long-term employees of the Bachner Group and bid farewell to eight retirees. The celebrations took place in November at the Airbräu Tenne at Munich Airport. “On behalf of the entire Bachner family and of the management, I would like to thank all the people who give their best every day for our company and for our customers”, said Hans Bachner in his speech.

Georg Gabelsberger (40 years) and Gerhard Auer (45 years) are the longest-standing employees in the Bachner Group. Both have been with us since their days as trainees and eventually rose through the ranks to become division managers. Martin Pongratz celebrates the third longest tenure at Bachner: He has been part of the team for 35 years.

Those three are followed by Florian Maiwald, Sandra Kick, Hubert Frischhut und Besim Ademi, each of whom were honored for 25 years at Bachner. Stephanie Weindl, Rudolf Sperl, Benjamin Hösl, Christian Girock, Michael Fuchs and Daniel Ettenhuber were each honored for 20 years in the company. Furthermore, Hans Bachner honored nine employees for 15 years as well as twelve for ten years with the company.

Half a century with Bachner: Bidding farewell to our retirees

Not only did the Bachner family honor loyal employees that evening – they also bid farewell to eight retirees. Their coworkers from Mainburg say goodbye to Sabine Köhler (14 years with Bachner) and Elke Mücklich (12 years). Manfred Schindler (10 years), Günther Scheingraber (35 years) and Klaus Blankl (36 years) retire from our Dingolfing branch.

Josef Aschka has been working at the Ingolstadt branch for 15 years before retiring, Jürgen Leuschner for 28 years in Berlin. Werner Maier from the Oberschleißheim branch holds this year’s record: He has been with the Bachner Group for 49 years and personally experienced the company growing from 50 employees to our current 950. During his active time, he was known for his reliable sense of what his employees needed.

Employee loyalty as key to our success

Our employees are particularly important at the Bachner Group – after all, they are key to our success. “We are a service provider and therefore depend on people who are committed to giving their best for our customers. All of you here have done this over several decades,“ Hans Bachner emphasized. “Therefore, it’s important to us to honor our long-standing employees. Nowadays, we cannot take this level of loyalty for granted.”
