Bachner Group's Christmas donation

For Christmas, Elektro Bachner donates 5,000 euros for social causes at each of its seven Austrian and German branches. This way, a total of 35,000 euros were raises for people in poverty in Mainburg, Landshut, Dingolfing, Oberschleißheim, Ingolstadt, Leipzig and Steyr.

At five of our locations, the money was donated to local charity organization "Tafel". They use the money to distribute food for free to economically and socially disadvantaged people. In Oberschleißheim, the "Oberschleißheimer Tisch" received 5,000 euros - the organization is similar to the Tafel in its goals. Our branch in the Austrian city of Steyr donated the money to Austrian news outlet OÖNachrichten for their yearly fundraising event OÖNachrichten-Christkindl. Its focus is to help Austrians who have fallen on hard times through no fault of their own.

It is important to the bachner Group to support these long-standing organiaztions and fundraising evens. As a family business, our branches have always been deeply rooted in the local communities. This is why it's our goal to give back to these communities and help the local citizens.
