Bachner Group supports regionally

The local branch of the Bachner Group donated 2,580 euros to the Nachbarschaftshilfe Oberschleißheim. Thomas Erdmann, authorized signatory of the Bachner Group, presented the donation to Irene Bogdain, executive director of the Nachbarschaftshilfe, and to Franka Reeh, vice chair of the board. The funds, which came from a raffle held at an employee event at the Bachner branch in Oberschleißheim, will benefit the diverse projects of the Nachbarschaftshilfe Oberschleißheim. Founded in 1970, the association supports families—for example, with household tasks and, through its own facilities, with childcare—as well as seniors through exercise programs and group activities. A third area of the association’s work is debt counseling. As a corporate group with many different locations, the Bachner Group aims to give back to the local community through its regional donations. “What impressed us most about the Nachbarschaftshilfe here in Oberschleißheim was the diversity of its offerings,” explains Erdmann, who represented the Bachner Group at the donation ceremony. “This diversity, along with the regional focus of the support, were decisive factors in selecting the donation recipient.”
